INKY is thrilled to announce two important hires; Carlene Shores, Vice President of Sales and Lisa Ackerson, Vice President of Marketing. Both Carlene and Lisa have impressive resumes with extensive combined marketing and sales experience and will be the driving force in designing and implementing INKY’s go-to-market strategy.
“Carlene and Lisa have already improved how we find and communicate with customers. They understand cyber, start-ups and streamlining processes, and we are lucky to have them,” said Dave Baggett, Inky Founder and CEO.
Carlene comes from Tenable, where she built the Commercial Sales Team from the ground up. Under her leadership there, revenue grew from zero to over $16 million in four years. Carlene said, “I’m excited to join the INKY team to help our existing customers as well as prospective customers protect their organizations against phishing attacks and protect their brands.” She will build out a United States sales team and, as global head of sales, manage INKY’s EMEA sales team.
Lisa’s expertise in marketing technology will help INKY refine and promote its value proposition and implement marketing strategies that drive revenue. Lisa said, “INKY has a compelling story to tell – the technology is next-generation, and it is also easy to demo and to set up. Since every organization can be a phishing target, it is an exciting time to be at INKY.” Lisa comes from ByteGrid, where she served as Vice President of Marketing and the company’s Privacy Officer.
Lisa joined INKY in June and Carlene followed in September.
