INKY Customer Loyalty: High Praise Reflected in Recent NPS Score

Few things make INKY employees smile like a good dose of customer satisfaction. While that can come in many forms, the Net Promoter Score (NPS) is a fan favorite. If you’re not familiar with it, NPS is a proven metric that measures your customers’ experience and can even predict future growth.

How NPS Works

A company’s Net Promoter Score is calculated based on answers provided to one simple question:

How likely is it that you would recommend <INKY> to a friend or colleague?

Respondents rate your company on a scale of 0-10, with 10 being the most likely to recommend your company. Each response your company receives counts toward their overall NPS score and falls into one of three categories:1

  • Promoters (score 9-10) are loyal enthusiasts

  • Passives (score 7-8) are satisfied customers

  • Detractors (score 0-6) are unhappy customers

A company’s overall NPS score is calculated like this: NPS - % of Promoters - % of Detractors

Average Technology Company: +35

A recent survey, which included the Net Promoter Scores of more than 150,000 organizations from around the world, found that the average NPS score is +32. And because NPS scores can vary by industry, the same survey shared that the average NPS score among technology companies was +35.2

Customer loyalty is a byproduct of customer satisfaction. When a customer is pleased with a product or service, they stick with it and often recommend it to others. That's why we’re thrilled to show off our NPS score of +77, which is more than twice the technology industry average Here are just a few of the comments some customers included with their responses:

“The INKY team is great, solid product with fantastic support.”

“INKY has the most juice from the squeeze!”
